INFORMATION

Training

 

From October to April dancers will learn a routine which is to be performed in the upcoming seasons competions.  In July a new routine is learnt for the end of season competition held at Pontins in September. This is a fun themed routine where the dancers wear costumes.  

 

All dancers are expected to wear their training uniform to sessions.

Subs are paid on the night.

Uniform

 

Training uniform: white pumps with white/navy laces, navy socks, navy PE skirts, shorts (under skirt), lemon T-shirt.

​

Competition day uniform: white pumps with lemon ribbon, navy socks, navy logo PE skirt, shorts (under skirt), navy logo T-Shirt, white logo jacket, hair ribbon.

Competitions

 

The competition season runs from April to September and are usually on Sundays with a few Saturday ones.  There is an entrance fee for dancers and spectators usually of £1-2 and the entrance money goes to the host troupes funds or to charity.  Some of the venues will have stalls, fairground rides, cafes and ice cream vans.  Rosabeth Royales dance at Cymru Carnival Association (CCA)  or Premier Dance Association (PDA) competitions.

Price

 

Training sessions are charged at £2 for 1 hour and £2.50 for 2 hours. 

(You only pay subs when you attend a session - not monthly or in a block).

There is an annual registration fee of £10.

​

(For multiple dancers from the same family we offer a discount on both subs and registration fees).

​

We are a self fundraising troupe, all monies raised are for the benefit of the troupe.

Displays

 

Rosabeth Royales are available for parades and displays at events such as Walking Day, Rose Queen and Fun Days.
